„THE DIVIDING LINE OF WORLDS“ - CONCERT IN PRAGUE

1. 8. 2016 The Prague Viola Duo presented an original concert project „The Dividing Line of Worlds“ based on Baroque music (Bach, Leclair) in combination with Czech composers of the 20th century, inspired by folk music (Jiří Herold, Sylvie Bodorová, Jiří Laburda). The concert took place in extraordinary area of Modřany Bell Tower in Prague where the audience could enjoy interviews with Tomáš and Jakub and talk about music.

 

SUMMER BAROQUE FESTIVAL - "BAROQUE IN THE WEST BOHEMIA"

6. 8. 2016  The Prague Viola Duo has played a concert at Svojšín Castle as a part of the Summer Baroque Festival. It follows the last years’ successful project Nine Weeks of Baroque which was organized in connection to the project Pilsen - European Capital of Culture 2015. Program: Georg Philipp Telemann (Canonic Sonata No. 2), Wilhelm Friedemann Bach (Duo in C major No. 2), Jean-Marie Leclair ( Sonata in c minor op. 12 No. 5)

 

CONCERT IN TOMMERUP

21. 8. 2016  The Prague Viola Duo was invited to play in Tommerup Church (service) and Tommerup Rectory (concert with introduction of a new exbitions of Per Ravn´s painting).
